Tracks Copyright Cases

CTS Tracks Copyright Cases through the Copyright Office. CTS tracks the type of application, the title of the work, the filing date, and the status of the application. CTS also tracks the authors, when and where the work was first published, previous registrations, derivative works, and CTS tracks the material sent with the registration application.

CTS also tracks each Office Action received for the case.

Once the registration issues, CTS tracks the effective registration date, the registration number, and the expiration date.

CTS will also track any Search done for the case.

CTS will also track any Assignments of the work.

In addition, CTS tracks an unlimited number of Reminder Items for each case. You can also create Reminder Rules for cases, and CTS provides ten FlexFields for each Copyright case, as well as the ten Common FlexFields available to all types of cases.

The Corporate Edition also tracks Case Cost information separately for each copyright case and outside counsel information for each case being handled by outside counsel.
