Tracks Prior Art searches

The prior art search screen which allows you to enter information about any searching that has been performed for an invention, a trademark or a copyright, including the searching done by the client or a foreign patent or trademark office. It also tracks whether or not you rendered an opinion regarding the search

If the search is being done by another firm, this screen tracks the date you requested the search and the date you expect it to be returned to you.

If your office is doing the search, the screen tracks the resources used in the search.

For patent searches, the screen also has the date any Information Disclosure Statement (IDS) is due and when the IDS was filed.

CTS also tracks an unlimited number of Reminder Items for each prior art search. You can also create Reminder Rules for prior art searches, and CTS provides ten FlexFields for each prior art search.

CTS will also track the prior art found in the search, and print PTO form 1449.
