Tracks Foreign Patent Cases

CTS tracks foreign patent applications through the Patent Office of each foreign country in which you file a case.

CTS tracks the local filing date, the local application number, the priority date and the date to request examination. It also tracks the issue date, the patent number in the country, and maintenance fees due before and after the patent issues in the country.

CTS also tracks each Office Action received for the case.

CTS also tracks your foreign counsel in the country, including the foreign counsel's docket number for the case and the particular attorney handling the case for you.

The foreign patent screen provides fields for data that will be used in a U.S. case, such as inventors, even though this information may not be needed for the foreign case. If the foreign case is filed first, this data is transferred to the U.S. case when the U.S. case is filed.

CTS also tracks an unlimited number of Reminder Items for each foreign case. You can also create Reminder Rules for foreign cases, and CTS provides ten FlexFields for each foreign case.
