Tracks U.S. Patent Cases, including Appeals

CTS tracks U.S. patent applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It tracks the filing date before the application is filed; the notice to file missing parts, if the application was not complete when filed; receiving the filing receipt; when to file formal drawings; each inventor; each Office Action; the issue fee; and after the patent issues, CTS tracks maintenance fees.

CTS also tracks Patent Publication and the foreign filing date for the case.

CTS tracks provisional applications, continuations, divisionals, CIPs, CPAs, RCEs, PCT371, Reissues and Reexamination cases, and provides a family tree display showing all other cases created from each case.

CTS tracks cases that were originally filed in another country and links them to the U.S. case.

The CTS forms library includes a large number of U.S. Patent related forms.

CTS tracks Patent Appeals including dates for the Notice of Appeal, the Appeal Brief, the Answer Brief, Reply Brief and Oral Hearing. CTS also tracks an unlimited number of Action items for each appeal. Each Action contains a date received, a date scheduled, and a date completed. Each Action item also contains a description of the Action item due and a Notes field.

CTS will also track any Prior Art Search done for the invention.

CTS will also track any Assignments of the invention.

CTS also tracks an unlimited number of Reminder Items for each Patent case. You can also create Reminder Rules for Patent cases, and CTS provides ten FlexFields for each Patent case, as well as ten Common FlexFields for each case.
